The extra handle lets you keep your dog close when needed and gives you much more control if you have a "fido freak out" moment. This leash is heavy duty, double reinforced between the second handle and the clip, which helps with dogs that bite at their leash too. Multiple rivets and a sturdy Chicago screw take the place of the locking braid and hold this second handle down tight.
Note: The quick release trigger snap with a round swivel eye which prevents twisting and tangling of the attached rope or round leather. The quick release mechanism makes this a frequently used favorite for dog and horse products lunge lines, reins, and leashes. Trigger snaps allows you easy on and easy off access.
